Building Better Citizens for America (BBCA) was founded in 2003 and has spent the past two decades supporting the Marin County Air Force JROTC Leadership Program, formerly based at Novato High School in Marin County, California. The program welcomed students from high schools across Marin County and the North Bay region, helping shape leadership, discipline, and service-minded values in young people. Several JROTC graduates have gone on to serve in the United States military.
In addition to its educational support, BBCA has organized and hosted events for both JROTC cadets and veterans, including the long-running Vets & Cadets event. This meaningful initiative brought together veterans and students to foster mentorship, community connection, and mutual respect.
Today, BBCA continues to support veterans across Marin County through meaningful community outreach and valuable resources. Over the past year, the organization has provided critical assistance during the winter months, including helping a veteran secure temporary shelter during periods of extreme cold. BBCA has also helped veterans transition into stable housing through established veterans’ housing programs.
In addition, the organization continues to invest in local schools and youth-centered initiatives, including Northridge Community School and the Young America’s Youth Foundation. BBCA remains committed to expanding its impact through continued support, meaningful partnerships, and the development of future community-focused events.
By supporting BBCA, you help us continue a legacy of service, leadership, and community impact for those who have served and those who will lead.
